One week from today I will be in our49th state at the Summer Teacher Iditarod Camp in Wasilla,AK. I look forward to learning about The Last Great Race and how to best incorporate the Iditarod into our Texas curriculum. I will be going to Talkeetna to see Denali (Mt. McKinley)and hiking a real glacier . How cool! Next year when I teach the word "glacier" I will actually have pictures.
